Tajul Rosli Razak

I am a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia, and a Postdoctoral Researcher (2025–2026) at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. I received a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) specializing in Artificial Intelligence and a Master of Science (Intelligent Systems) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, followed by a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. My research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Fuzzy Logic Systems, Hierarchical Fuzzy Systems, Decision Support Systems, and Explainable AI (XAI), with applications in healthcare, energy systems, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. I am also a member of the IEEE-CIS Task Force on Explainable Fuzzy Systems and a contributor to the open-source fuzzyR package in R, where I have introduced novel interpretability measures for Hierarchical Fuzzy Systems.
